US Frame Factory (USFF) is a rapidly growing startup solutions provider in the cold-formed steel space. From project inception to material hitting the ground, USFF offers services to expedite, reduce cost, minimize waste, and decrease time to market. We specialize in business to business transactions enabling our customers to build more efficiently.
USFF’s long term goals are to reduce the cost of construction, decrease the amount of time to build, and build the highest quality at each price point. We think that these goals are achievable through continued innovations in manufacturing applied to construction. In order to fund our dreams of driving down affordable construction, we have focused on steel as a way to learn manufacturing and create market presence.
Technical Sales Engineer
Houston Metro Area
We are looking to hire a Technical Sales Engineer in the Houston area that will help us kickstart our presence in Houston. They will initially be the first person working a distribution center that will later turn into a manufacturing facility as the volume is proved in Houston. This person will have the following attributes:
- Young spirited
- Ambitious to grow our market presence
- Not afraid to do outbound sales and prospecting
- Very responsive to customers
- Willing to work long hours to meet customer needs
This position is salaried with a tiered commission structure. We want to build a long lasting relationship with the individual we are training in this role. In this role you will:
- Manage the USFF location in Houston
- Answer inbound in person calls and visits
- Be responsible for prospecting and meeting with clients
- Manage a small inventory in Houston
- Learn and maintain knowledge of the product
- Answering customer technical questions
Job Details
- Pay scale $52,000-$72,800+ (no experience to very experienced) with a tiered commission
- Vacation is flexible as long as you get your work done
- We do not currently offer health and benefits; however, we are looking to offer health in the next 6 months and benefits soon after
